Misery loves company, but you don't have to be either of them.

My parents have always told me that misery loves company.  Over the years I have seen that they were correct. As parents, they chose not to reveal the true lesson in the saying. They allowed me learn for myself...the hard way.

It is true that misery loves company, but a more accurate statement would be that misery NEEDS company.  Why else would misery love company so much?  It all has to do with the transfer of negative energy.  If you choose to be misery’s company, be prepared to become miserable.
You have a choice in the matter.  Choose happiness and love over misery.  Positivity will take you a lot further and it will also allow you to have company that you can keep. If you choose happiness, you’ll never be lonely.

Let's hear your thoughts...
